Executive Director

I joined LFP in June of 2010. I have been working with kids for almost 20 years. I’m a life-long learner and will continue to research child development in order to create the best place possible for our kiddos. I believe PLAY is the best way for kids to learn, create and interact with their environment. One of my favorite things about LFP is the outdoors! We are extremely lucky to have such a large facility that allows the kids to interact with nature, natural materials and endless learning opportunities! I'm originally from WA, where I was a Director before moving here.  I also taught in Alexandria, VA for several years.  Fun fact, I worked for Deborah Tillman, also known as America's Supernanny.  I have two daughters. K’Lee is a freshman in high school; she plays competitive, softball, volleyball and basketball.  Halle is a sophomore in college and is a floater at LFP.  K'Lee is an LFP alumni and I give LFP credit for her creativity, risk-taking and kindness towards friends.  My husband and I coach a competitive softball team for USSSA. If I’m not at LFP, I’m at the softball fields.  Another fun fact...I love the Dodgers!

Business Manager

I joined the staff of LFP in 2013 as the Business Manager, an accountant with 35 years experience and a BA in Business from Regis University. Little Forest Playschool has been the most incredible experience of my career with a team that works always for the benefit of the children. It has also prepared me for helping out with my four grandchildren who need the guidance that I learned through being involved with the teachers and families that I have worked with all these years. I am an avid skier and hiker, reader and writer. I am living in Crested Butte, Colorado and spend the winters in Florida but visit Little Forest whenever possible.

Office Manager

I was hired as an Assistant Teacher at LFP in 2019. What drew me to the school was my love for working with children and LFP’s learning philosophy. Being a LFP teacher taught me a lot. I grew to love working with this age group. My background is in primary education. I ran a federally-funded tutoring program out of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. I’m from Las Vegas, NV, but am originally from Honolulu, HI. I moved to Los Alamos in 2019. It took me a while to get used to living in a small town, but now I love it! I have two kiddos, River (7) and Lola (3).
