I joined LFP in June of 2010. I have been working with kids for almost 20 years. I’m a life-long learner and will continue to research child development in order to create the best place possible for our kiddos. I believe PLAY is the best way for kids to learn, create and interact with their environment. One of my favorite things about LFP is the outdoors! We are extremely lucky to have such a large facility that allows the kids to interact with nature, natural materials and endless learning opportunities! I'm originally from WA, where I was a Director before moving here.  I also taught in Alexandria, VA for several years.  Fun fact, I worked for Deborah Tillman, also known as America's Supernanny.  I have two daughters. K’Lee is an LFP alumni and is in her last year of high school; she plays softball and basketball.  Halle worked at LFP for years before moving back to our hometown in WA.  Another fun fact...I love the LA Dodgers!

I'm an LFP alumni and I'm currently a senior at LAHS. I grew up at Little Forest and I contribute my independence, confidence, and risk-taking to the environment at LFP. I am an athlete, playing softball, basketball, volleyball and soccer. I love the LA Dodgers! After graduation I plan to attend NMSU and will be studying to become a traveling sonographer.
